The Maryland State Board of Dental Examiners now requires that ALL 30 CE credits must be obtained by December 31 of the year PRIOR to the license expiring. If a license expires on June 30, 2008 then all CE credits to qualify for renewal must be taken by December 31, 2007. The Licensees may still request, in writing a six month extension, but all CE credits must be obtained on or before the expiration date of the license (June 30). Questions??? How can we treat difficult patients more efficiently, effectively and easily? Difficult patients; those who may have situational anxiety, panic attacks, Alzheimers, autism, or are mentally challenged, combative, very young, fearful, phobic, or medically or physically compromised? This 4-hour hands-on participation course offers tools and tips for successful management of these special-needs patients. Dr. Harvey Levy shares ideas on treating these patients with greater ease and success such as in office conscious sedation with use of nitrous oxide and oral medications.

Prepares dental assistants who are employed in a dental office to sit for the DANB Dental Radiation Health and Safety Certification exam.
