Executive Director oversees the day-to-day operations of the association. Along with that responsibility, he maintains outside relations with state and local agencies as well as other health care provider organizations. Prior to his arrival at MSDA in September of 2006, he spent 16 years as the Director of Political Affairs/ADPAC for the American Dental Association. He is also an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve and an alumnus of University of Maryland.

Colleen Fowler, Assistant Executive Director/Membership Services assists in the development of MSDA programs and the overall operations of the office. She manages Membership Services Department and the Membership Committee and Committee on New Dentist.

Peter Holmes, MS, IOM, Director of Governance and Public Policy, provides assistance to the Executive Director, and is responsible for Officer Visitations, Board of Trustees, House of Delegates, Maryland Political Action Committee (MARPAC), and Direct Reimbursement. He also serves as staff liaison to the Legislative Affairs Committee, Committee on Public and Professional Communications, the Charitable and Education Foundation, Oral Health Advisory Committee and is the PANDA administrator. Peter is also the Executive Director for the Anne Arundel County Dental Society.

Sue Camardese is the Director of Education and coordinates Continuing Education programs and seminars for dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants. She serves as staff liaison to the Dental Auxiliary Education and Accreditation Committee and the Continuing Education and Professional Development Committee as well as providing assistance to the Dentists' Well-Being Committee.
